Olympus Trip 35 - Film Camera w/ Zuiko Lens - Silver flecked Cork - Serviced VGC! The iconic Olympus Trip 35 is a 35mm compact camera, manufactured by Olympus. It was introduced in 1967 and discontinued, after a lengthy production run, in 1984. The Trip 35 was a point and shoot model with a 40 mm? It operates completely without batteries. Its light meter and programmed automatic exposure system is solar powered!

This makes it one of the world's most advanced cameras which provides fully automatic exposure completely without batteries or external electrical power. The camera is in very good condition with no significant marks or scratches, some light spots of wear on the black paint particularly on the door hinge (see photos).

The winding mechanism and shutter work smoothly. The aperture blades open snappily across the range of apertures. The low light warning, red flag pop up in the viewfinder is fully functional. The lens is clear and has no scratches, fogging or fungus. The old leatherette has been replaced with a new silver flecked cork one this is the same material used to make wallets so is very durable and looks fantastic!

The focus has been checked. The light seals have been replaced. The camera doesn't require batteries.
